Since 2004, Tadhg has been involved in the production of video content for broadcast, sale and publication to the internet. In the past, he has worked with Panache Television on television highlights from Punchestown, Tattersalls and Necarne International Horse Trials as well as gaining experience with the RTÉ News and Current Affairs department. Tadhg has also benefitted from outside broadcast work experience during the Galway Racing Festival and the Dublin Horse Show.
Live video-streaming of events is becoming increasingly popular and Bit-Media have been involved in the online broadcast of events including the FEI European Championships for Ponies 2014, Millstreet International Horse Show and Ballindenisk International Horse Trials.
Bit-Media have been commissioned to produce a number of videos for the Traditional Irish Horse Association; most notably for the TIHA Hunter Show and Go initiative. This has involved the recording of over 40 horses performing over a set course of fences. The multi-camera videos have then been produced on DVD and published online as a sales tool. Feedback has been positive and as a result of the videos, horses have been sold to the USA, Great Britain and Europe.
Tadhg has recently produced video highlights from each stage of the 2013 Future Event Horse League. Videos from Scarteen, Forth Mountain, Dollanstown, Tattersalls, Ravensdale and Tullymurry are available to view on the FEHL Website.
The inaugural Kilguilkey House International Horse Trials took place in Co. Cork in July 2013. Tadhg produced a short feature incorporating highlights of the Cross Country phase with interviews from some of the leading riders.
