While the 2025 David Foster Injured Riders Fund Ball sadly didn't take place as planned, a very special gathering took place in Co. Kildare on Saturday afternoon where Faith & Peter Ponsonby were jointly presented with the 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝; a tribute to their lifelong passion for and dedication to the sport of #eventing, both at home and on the world stage.

With their inimitable charm and tireless commitment, the Ponsonby's contribution to equestrianism reaches far beyond their various official roles. Between them, they have worn just about every hat in the game; instructor, dressage judge, @fei_eventing ground jury member, Cross-Country course builder, @eventingireland official, FEI Steward, Technical Delegate, mentor, committee member and more. In each of these endeavours, they continue to enchant and inspire; leaving an indelible mark on those who have been privileged to learn from them.

🏆 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘: This week we're remembering the Connolly's RED MILLS CCI4*S class at Lisgarvan House International where Great Britain's Izzy Taylor Eventing led from start to finish with the Irish-bred SBH BIG WALL to secure their first victory at this level. The combination went on to finish in the top 10 at the prestigious Blenheim Palace CCI4* 8&9YO Championships a few weeks later and were runner's up in the CCI4*S at Kronenberg to round off their 2024 season.
